Eurex Clearing adds Katja Renner to its Fixed Income sales team


Eurex Clearing, one of the main central clearing counterparties (CCPs) and part of the Eurex group, announced on Tuesday that it added Katja Renner on her finance and fixed income finance sales team.

In his new role, Renner will be based in London and will primarily cover selling clients in the UK, according to the statement released today. To achieve this, it can draw on more than two decades of experience in the finance and finance industry.

Prior to joining Eurex Clearing, Renner worked as a consultant on financing, liquidity and collateral management in London. In this role, she has been a consultant on product and business development from an equity financing perspective, says her LinkedIn.

Previously, she worked at Squawker, a financial technology company that provides multi-asset trading solutions to help trading companies find liquidity and trade and execute trades. Here she was employed from October 2015 to July 2016 in an equity financing role.

Katja Renner spent 11 years at Citi

Renner has spent most of her career at Citigroup, where she worked for almost 12 years from 2002 to 2014. At the multinational corporation, Renner was Vice President of Equity Financing.

At Citi, Renner was responsible for liquidity management for the Prime Brokerage and as such undertook various projects to improve collateral reallocation for the unit. This included the systematic classification of assets and the automation of collateral scoring, says LinkedIn.

Prior to her tenure at Citi, Renner worked in Fixed Income Repo and Equity Transactions, Equity Loan Sales and Trading at LBBW where she was Assistant Vice President. In this role, she focused on product and business development, coordinated marketing activities and covered multinational companies and banks from a securities lending / repo perspective.

During his career, Renner was also a junior trader at BW-Bank in Germany.
