BTIG expands bond lending team in London


LONDON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BTIG Limited today announced that Christelle Girardie and Paras Shah have joined the firm’s Fixed Income Credit team as Managing Directors. These hires further strengthen BTIG’s fixed income sales and trading capabilities and demonstrate the continued growth of BTIG’s fixed income platform.

Prior to BTIG, Ms. Girardie was Managing Director in Distressed Sourcing and High Yield/Loan Sales at Seaport Global. Previously, she was Executive Director within the Global Loans Syndication group at Crédit Agricole CIB. Earlier in her career, she was responsible for the distribution of loans for France and Benelux within Debt Finance and Advisory at HSBC France.

Mr. Shah was previously Director and Head of EMEA High Yield Trading at Citigroup. Previously, he was Director at HSBC for both High Yield and Sterling Credit Trading.
